How to teach basic football skills

As in most games, the key to teaching young football games is to make the players learn skills while having lots of fun. Basic skills are soccer dribbling, shooting, heading, wrestling and porters. Focus on one skill at a time and move to the next after a little practice. Do not stay in one area so long, and boredom set in and players start to lose interest and focus.

1. Teach students about the role of players in each of the three positions: forward, midfield and fullback. Divide the players into three groups and are aligned one behind the other. Each group plays a set for a game and after the switch groups. Thus, each gets to play in any position.

2. Enter drip. This is by far the most important basic skill of soccer, as the drip is how the players move the ball down the field, while keeping it under control. Explain the importance of keeping your eyes on the ball, not letting the ball move more than a few feet away from the body, protecting the body between the ball players and the opponent and always keeping an eye on the positions of other players around.

3. Teach fire, which is to kick the soccer ball a long distance, either in the opponents net or another player on the same team. Demonstrate and let the players practice shooting the basic steps to keep your eye on the ball, moving at a slight angle, placing the foot non-strikers on the side of the ball, keeping the knee of the kicking leg on ball in the center of the ball and move forward with the full swing of the leg.

4.Introduce the idea of the game, but understand it can be difficult to teach and more difficult to master. Although there are intricate details of the technique, start with the basic ability to make contact with the ball with his forehead, eyes open until the contact and mouth closed.

5.Practice slide tackle, where the defender must stop an opposing player. Instruct and slide the fight against the practice, leaving only the fight against the block of the more experienced players.

6.Ensure all goalkeepers practice players. At the basic level, focus on proper techniques and avoid capture in diver training.
