Palermo (AFP) – The dream of the AC Milan has burst from the first double of the club’s history. Three days after winning the Italian football championship of the traditional club missed by a 1:2 (0:0) at Palermo a place in the cup final. In the first leg, both teams had split 2-2.

Giulio Migliaccio (63) and Cesare Bovo from the penalty spot (73rd) scored for the Sicilians, who are facing the first major title in club history. The first goal by Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the 90th Minutes came too late for Milan. In the final phase scorer Bovo looked like the former Bayern-pro Mark Bommel on the opposite side of the red card.

Final on 29th May in Rome, Palermo expected either Inter Milan or AS Roma, which are on Wednesday against. The first leg was played defending champion Inter 1-0.
